Skilled content writer and blogger

I have always loved writing whether its novel writing (i have two novels in the pipeline that i am looking to get published' blog writing, journal writing, or feature and article writing. In my freelance career i have mainly specialised in animal behaviour and during this time i have had the opportunity to interview numerous global welfare organisations and promote their work, as well as educate pet owners on the best way to care for their pets. I have a degree in animal behaviour and welfare as well as 10 years working in the animal industry. The last three years of which, i have worked as a teaching assistant, leading practical sessions for college students in animal care.

Aside from this, in 2018 i set up my own parenting magazine for the local community. This was a real turning point for me and as a result i have gained experience in project management, editorial skills, advertising, marketing, and supervising other writers.

I would really love to branch out into writing about other topics to build my range. I have always been a music lover in nearly every genre, and have learnt to play numerous instruments in my spare time. I am also very interested in writing about mental health as i have suffered myself for the last 20 years. As an adept researcher, i am comfortable researching any topic so would love the opportunity to do so!

Work Terms

I am looking to turn my passion for writing into a full-time career so am willing to be very flexible with hours. I do believe a clients needs come first so i will always endeavour to stick to any deadlines and briefs given. I pride myself on maintaining contact with my client at all times to keep them updated on my progress. My rate for a 1000 word article is £25, however this does depend on the amount of research required.
