Hello there, my name is Carlos. I am from Brazil, but I am currently living in Melbourne-Australia because of my PhD at the University of Melbourne. I am working with structural bioinformatics focusing on the analysis of the effect of mutations on protein interactions and flexibility. I also hold a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in Brazil focused on analysis of effects of mutations on proteins based on structural properties and computational approaches of machine learning and database integration for data analysis. I have previous experience as software analyst with a focus on web-based systems and a good experience on web development and automated software testing.

Work Terms

I prefer working during the afternoon or beginning of evening. However, depending on the demand my schedule is relatively flexible. I can currently commit to 20-30hrs a week, but again we can also discuss that.
