Crafting Words, Bridging Worlds

My journey with languages started early. Growing up in a multicultural environment, I was constantly surrounded by English, French, German, Russian, and Spanish. From a young age, I was fascinated by how words could shape ideas, build bridges, and connect people from different worlds. That curiosity led me to pursue a degree in Communication, and it wasn’t long before I realized that translation was my true calling. I wanted to be the bridge that connected those worlds.

I followed my passion by diving into Translation Studies and now, I’m enrolled in a master's program at the University of Nairobi. It’s been a rewarding experience where I specialize in translating between English, French, and Spanish—three languages that have always been a part of my life. Along the way, I’ve worked as a freelance content writer and translator for a variety of companies. Every project I take on feels like a new challenge, and I love the versatility my work brings. Whether I’m writing blog content, translating complex legal documents, or localizing creative works, I approach each task with care, always striving to deliver precision and creativity.

One of the most impactful projects I worked on was my research into how translators shape diplomatic and political relations, especially in a world where AI is evolving rapidly. It was an eye-opening experience. Despite the growing role of AI, I discovered the irreplaceable value of human translators in navigating the nuances of international communication. It reinforced my belief that language isn’t just about words—it’s about culture, empathy, and connection.

Outside of my work, I’m an avid reader. Novels have always been a source of inspiration for me. There’s something magical about getting lost in a story, and I think that’s where my passion for storytelling comes from. I bring that same sense of wonder and creativity into my script writing and content creation. Whether I’m crafting a narrative or bringing a brand’s voice to life, I love creating content that resonates with people.

I believe in the power of words. Every word matters, whether it’s in a blog post, a script, or a translated document. I’m meticulous in my work because I know that the right words can inspire, inform, and connect. My values of precision, creativity, and empathy guide everything I do. I always try to make sure that the message I’m working on, doesn’t just reach the audience but speaks to them.

When I’m not working, you’ll often find me exploring new cultures—through language, food, or travel. These experiences fuel my passion for what I do, reminding me that language is more than just communication—it’s a way to connect with the world. That’s what drives me every day, both in my writing and translation work. I love being part of that connection.

Work Terms

I operate Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM (GMT+3), and I’m open to weekend work on a case-by-case basis, especially for urgent projects. I strive to offer flexibility in my schedule to meet your needs while ensuring quality work is delivered within agreed timelines.

Regarding payment, I require a 30% upfront deposit to start any project, with the remaining 50% due upon completion. Payments can be made via PayPal, bank transfer, or any other mutually agreed method. For larger or ongoing projects, we can set up a custom payment plan to suit both parties. I typically issue invoices with a net 15-day payment period, and any additional revisions beyond the initial scope will be billed separately based on the complexity of the changes.

In terms of communication, I prefer to handle most project discussions and updates via email, as it allows for clear, organized exchanges. However, I am available for phone or video calls if needed to discuss project details in more depth. I value transparency and consistent communication, so I make it a priority to keep you updated throughout the entire process, from concept to final delivery.
