I am Carol Carlene Phillips. I hold a Masters of Science Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies (Upper 2nd Class Honours) from the University of the West Indies (UWI), Jamaica and have some training at the CPA certification level as well as experience with SBT, ACCPAC, Quicken, Quickbooks and MS Dynamics accounting programs, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word.
I have been employed in the field of finance and accounting for many years, including at the supervisory and management levels. I also have training and experience in the areas of office and general administration and human resource management.
Over many years I have been involved in various organizations in volunteer capacities and have brought my skills and work ethic to bear on the work done for these organizations. This has also allowed me the opportunity to hone other skills some of which are not strictly finance, administration or HR related, such as, events planning for various types of functions, preparation and editing of press releases, co-ordination of media for press conferences, co-ordination of pageant judges, to name a few.
As a details-oriented individual with excellent organizational and written communications skills, I put all these skills to work for any organization with which I am engaged
Work Terms
Willing to be flexible with work hours depending on requirements of client.
Payment expected on completion of work and presentation of invoice unless it is a long job in which case phased payment can be agreed in advance
