I am a bilingual professional graduate with a Bachelor Degree in Hotel Administration in Hospitality, exceeding both in practical and theoretical areas.
I have been in the Marketing/ Sales and Hospitality area for eleven years with an extensive experience in organizing meetings, events, conferences, etc. As part of my degree I did work experiences for important international Hotel chains such as the Sheraton and Hyatt. I began my professional career in the biggest wholesale operator in Chile, in charge of the Ski Division and Incoming Department, after this I worked for Royal Caribbean International for a year, based in the United States and returned to Chile where I was Market Manager and Reservations Manager for Tierra Hotels, a five star luxury boutique chain of Hotels in the Desert and Patagonia. I stayed there for five years before returning to Australia to start a new future with my young family.
At the moment I work from home for MTA Travel Agency and I have the flexibility to work on my own hours.
Currently as well, conducting freelance English classes for numerous students from basic – advanced level at ECLAC.
Currently providing private English classes to staff of UNICEF (United Nations Children Fund Feb 2011 - present).
Private Spanish – English translation services provided for several corporate enterprises and institutions including University of Chile, Central Bank of Chile, Contours Travel and various freelance translations for websites and blogs (2009 – present).
