Hard working, ambitious and self-motivated, Carolyn A. Douse (b. 1991) started her first company BWC (Black, White & Colour Unlimited) the age of 15 and is now (six years later) apart of another, OldowanCo. While still attending OCADU Carolyn’s artistic growth has been immense as her graphic design skills have expanded in multiple ways. Working in the Rapid Prototyping Studio for 5 years at OCAD U she has been able to explore the world beyond 2D plains of design into 3D. Now trained in several cutting edge technologies Carolyn has been able to bring her creative skills into the work place.

At Oldowan, as CEO Carolyn ensures high quality craftsmanship overseeing all design. In 2013 she launched into the fashion world working along -side two Toronto-based designers RedCrown. With a doorway into Toronto Fashion Week she has created pieces that are not only stylish but the creative process combines technological advancements and traditional leather crafting techniques.
