PhD English seeks writing and editing jobs

Hello! Thank you for viewing my profile! I have a PhD in English and eleven years experience teaching a variety of writing styles, from basic composition to creative writing to technical writing. I have experience teaching at the middle school, high school, and college levels. During my time in the classroom I have gained expertise in all of the above styles of writing, and have also gained proficiency as an editor. My editing experience has been fine-tuned through my experience working at university writing centers. My time at writing centers has also provided me ample opportunities to work with ESL students. I understand their needs and can provide suitable editing feedback. I am looking for work writing or editing. I am especially interested in helping to produce academic materials and technical documents. I am a careful writer and editor who places an emphasis on clarity, correctness, and professionalism.

Hours of operation: Flexible. Give me a deadline and I will work as needed to meet it.
