Replicating memories

I'm very enthusiastic about my art! I currently teach groups of young students from different schools how to draw, become familiar with art terms, learn color techniques and pepper color order, all so the future can stay hand drawn in a digital world! Especially since I benefited from unique art teachers when I was in school, learning to be confident in my skills and enhancing them put me into competitions where I was able to share my passion and win something from it! I'm referring to the Visual Art Scholastic Event that was held in Houston, and looking back on my workshop pieces (a charcoal workshop) I wondered why I hadn't pursued it sooner! I'm recent years after being in and out of different standard jobs, waitressing, office work, teaching, transitioning to online, I literally just took a break from it all and re-evaluated what I really wanted to do next, and how did I fill my time? Purchasing my first grey toned sketchbook, some charcoal pencils and some headphones to zone out in, and tada! It was all uphill from there. Since then I've been actively searching for ways to use my skills for someone else's gain. I love doing portraits of either families or a single person, even if it's a musician or celebrity, out support hero, I'm great at replicating what I see and my favorite medium is charcoal, or graphite; if I'm going to do sceneries though I prefer acrylic paint to be a little more free with my color choices, but I'm up for any challenge! At the moment I have a few commission pieces that are of different super heroes, and I just completed a family portrait, these are all at 19x25 using black and white charcoal. I have done some basic standard paper sized charcoal pieces as well, one was a repeat customer which I was ecstatic about! We are living in a world where we all provide a unique service based on what we love, this is mine and I really am looking forward to working with someone airboating of that service!

I would love to get your vision across through my work, I'm very open to feedback, suggestions or proposals on how you want things to look, I love communication. Whatever manner of communication is best for you, works for me! I would like to have at least 4 days to be able to not rush the work if it's a large piece, but I will dedicate time strictly to my work each day. Feel free to specify the date you need your piece by and I'll work hard!
