Hi everyone,

I am a native Chinese with translating and interpreting being my expertise. My language pair is English and Chinese. Apart from subtitle translating, I also am skilled at translations related to medicine, food, biology and health products.

Due to a great passion for translating and interpreting, I have successfully accumulated approximately 400,000 words of translation experience, including business documents, medicine specifications, health apps, media release materials, product presentation, etc. Also, I have worked as a consecutive interpreter in some international events, such as the Guiyang International Expert Organizations Project Fair 2016.

Being the proofreader and translator of a British TV program subtitle group, I have produced the Chinese translations of many famous British TV series and Movies, such as the Silk, Call the Midwife, Indian Summers, and so forth, which has given many Chinese fans the access to these brilliant TV programs.

I have successfully applied to study a Master degree in Translating and Interpreting in the University of Bath, which will start on 2 October 2017. It will help me to enhance my skills about simultaneous interpreting.

After finishing my Bachelor's degree in Food Science & Engineering, I started working for the Guiyang Municipal Food and Drug Administration. I have been working here for almost 10 years and I am now the deputy chief in Inspecting & Sampling Department of the Administration's Inspection Bureau. As a result, I am very familiar with terms and phrases related to medicine, food, health products, medical apparatus and cosmetics.

I am very detail-orientated and responsible for the quality of my translation and interpretation, and I will actively communicate with my clients to make the work is done in accordance with their requirements.
