I am a writer, blogger, photographer, speaker, coach, explorer, runner, scuba diver, stepparent of 2 fun kids, wife to my amazing husband of 7 years, a sister to 2 extremely supportive brothers (one of them did my website for me!), and daughter to 2 incredible parents who taught me to never give up and always think outside the box! As you can see, I am rich with love and good in my life. I would love the opportunity to share it with you.

Travel is a lifestyle for my family. Since before I can remember, holidays were spent exploring. Whether we were exploring a new, local place someone told us about, road tripping to the coast or the mountains, or flying off into the sunset on a new adventure to a far off place, we were always enriching our lives with travel. We always were on the look out for what the locals recommend and for opportunities to learn more about people and nature. We loved hearing stories, like the one about the grizzly bear that totaled a VW Van on the Al-Can Highway and the proprietor of the hotel we were staying at got to hear the man tell his insurance company about it. Or the one about... well... I will save those for later.

Some of the most fun and special moments were when we would document our travels. Photography was and is intricately linked to our travels. It was our favorite way to record our experiences. And when we got home, we always loved sharing our adventures with others through our stories and our pictures. The best was when we inspired others to go on their own adventures, passing on the best experiential learning and character development opportunities for all ages.

This natural desire to learn more and share with others through stories and photography is what lead me to start travel writing and photographing the world.
