I am Cecilia Cuevas. I am a California native. It is here where I discovered a love for linguistics and rhetoric and most importantly, the meaning of “pay it forward.” I received my B.A. in Linguistics from UC Berkeley with the intention of empowering students to hone their voice and use it to change the world, one human connection at a time. After eight years of teaching language analysis and critical thinking, I have chosen to shift the direction of my ripple effect. And it is here where you and I cross paths.

As an educator, my teacher assistants were invaluable to me. They handled all the smaller tasks so that I could focus on creating differentiated lessons, providing more precise feedback, and just teaching. But not everyone has that someone they can count on to be "On Their Left" (as Captain America and The Falcon might say). It is my hope that you will count on me to be on your left.
