I am 30 years of age. I have gained 10 years of experience in different administrative posts. I also possess a business studies degree. In 2008 I started my career as a receptionist at A hardware store called True Value building and Hardware Supplies. Within that year i did courses to become a certified Customs Broker. Right away I began doing inhouse brokerage for the company. I enjoyed making things happen, the satisfaction of clearing multiple shipments within a month in a difficult environment at that tender age of 20. I was promoted to accounts clerk and then to the head of the accounts department. I liaised directly with the financial controller who is also the director, I handled all accounts tasks as well as hr and brokerage. After handling the accounts department I was offered to be the directors Personal Assistant and Human Resource Manager. I was the buffer between 40 employees and ensuring the directors time is guarded. I handles all admin tasks, brokerage and hr. Just to name a few. In 2015 I was on maternity leave and vacation for 4 months, when i
returned I was put in charge of the purchasing department because of my brokerage experience as well as my experience and growth with the organization. In 2016 to date I resigned to take up a new job with Coconut Bay Resort and Spa as a Senior Cost Control Accountant. I am responsible for food and beverage reports, utility reports and inventory, just to name a few. In 2017 to date I also commenced my own business. Its a guesthouse, restaurant and bar. I use quickbooks online and loyverse for the business. I have been able to practice and improve on managerial skills, budgeting, human resource, purchases, customer service, marketing. My 10years from the age of 20 molded me alot since i gained exposure in many fields. I have experience with quickbooks, adaco, datapro, daceasy, loyvers. pride myself on being versatile and having effective time management and communication skills. I handle all tasks head on.
Work Terms
I plan to make my schedule very flexible. 8-5 shifts preferably but I can work around other schedules as well. Payment terms would depend on the job and the length of the contract or hours required per week.
