From my professional experience with leading editorial organizations such as the Financial Times Group and Informa Plc, I am highly skilled in delivering market-leading content, editing, and research that can then be marketed through a wide variety of products including market reports, articles, and conference agendas. These skills also allow me to offer high-level editing, proofreading and commenting on external work. I have experience in a variety of topics and industries but core focuses and interests span into innovation, business technology, the future of work, digital healthcare, and energy. During my time at the Financial Times, I was responsible for founding and leading the FT Innovation Dialogues - a community of content and connections for industry-leading innovation executives.
Personally, I am a confident, energetic high achiever with strong communication and interpersonal skills. I have a strong belief in integrity and loyalty, and my competitive spirit has allowed me to combine personal achievements with a vision that hard work and determination result in success.
Outside of work, my experiences of extreme adventure and leadership have given me an insight into team dynamics and how to motivate others towards achieving a goal when faced with adversity, as well as acquire highly effective time management skills. My latest achievement was rowing unsupported across the Atlantic Ocean in 2016 to raise awareness and funds for the MS Trust. The challenge took 51 days.
