As the Executive Director of Management Development Consultants, Dr. Borman has designed, written and managed numerous innovative health, social service, and business, program grants. on an international, national, and state level. (See list of successful grants) She is the author of over two dozen program development and grant-related training curricula She is considered an expert on federal grant program outcome objectives, evaluation, and budgets. She holds a Ph.D. in Neuro-Psychology with an emphasis on Cognitive Learning which is the study of the how and why humans intake, process, assimilate, integrate and utilize information to make decisions in their daily and work lives. Her Master's degree is in Developmental Psychology with a thesis in “Behavior Change” which utilizes self-learning and coaching to make significant behavioral and life changes. She has taught at the Medical College of WI. and Univ. of WI, Milw. She has written and provided training courses in Community and Behavior Change and provided business coaching for Hewlett Packard for internationally published business author Harrison Monarch. Her research on behavior change and HIV in Immigrant Workers was published in the NIH Journal of Immigrant & Minority Health, citing her as the second author, and authored numerous published health articles. She recently has worked on successful grants for Ebola Vaccine distribution, HIV testing, and treatment, Drug & Alcohol, Treatment, Mental Health, WIC, Homeless Housing, Head Start, Health Clinic, Communicable Disease, Family Unification, Employment, Job Training, Social Services, Child Assesment & Veteran's Housing and successfully wrote a 32 M grant to CDC for the National WIC Program Training in 33 states. .
