About

We are a team of iOS and Web Developers, used to work remotely. We've built some strong long-term relationships with our clients and are aiming to enhance our network even more.

ere at Cheesecake Labs, we have an amazing team willing to work in many different fronts, always pursuing the most innovative and efficient technologies. We've been working with different partners from Silicon Valley for the past years, so we have develop amazing techniques for working remotely.

One could classify us in two different development profiles, which are:

1. WEB DEVELOPER: we have experience with amazing web apps, using technologies such as:
1.a. FRONTEND: ReactJS (we love this), jQuery, javascript, html5, handlebars and CSS3.
1.b. BACKEND: python-django, elasticsearch, python-flask, node.js (low experience in node), running on AWS machines or Heroku.

2. iOS MOBILE DEVELOPER: this is definitely our biggest workforce. We love developing for iOS and our expertise includes:
- Universal interface apps: we have a good knowledge of layout constraints, used with non-native frameworks, to build universal interfaces, that will look good in any iOS device our apps run.
- Camera expertise: we've developed many photo and video apps so far, so we're the right team to get to work in this sort of project;

Work Terms

There are a couple of topics I'd like to bring up regarding our team’s work experience and workflow:

Distance Work
You should know that we are rather experienced in distance working as we've done it since mid-2013. W adopt a weekly based meeting schedule that goes along with a weekly deliver, so we can make sure the job is being done as the client expects and both the product manager and the developer team are always in the same page.

Universal App Interface
I usually work with KeepLayout constraints (iOS) framework, which is used to build app interfaces that will work perfectly for any iOS gadget, from iPad to iPhone. This way we build universal apps in an easy and scalable way.

Task Management
Using task management tools such as PivotalTracker and Asana is something we are really familiar with. It is something we could use to keep track of the work improvement and to be sure all tasks and bugs are being correctly addressed, as well as their current status.

Code Quality & Testing
Another aspect we are keen on is testing the code before every commit and making sure the client has tested it prior to mark a task as completed in the Task Manager. This way we can double check the code for any bugs.

Those are some aspects that make Cheesecake Labs eligible to work from distance and build a solid and structured app.

Sincerely,
The Cheesecake Team
