What really makes me stand out is diverse writing and research abilities, the noticeable common dominator in all that I do! I strive, I seek, I find but am yet to yield
My interest in writing and research of all kinds, sparked somewhere between the end of my high school years and then throughout University. Beginning with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English and History, but also electing to pursue courses in Philosophy, Politics, Economics, Journalism - I continually developed a particular set of skills and an adoration for the written word.
To diversify in this regard, I pursued a Bachelor of Laws degree followed by a Master of Laws specialising in Intellectual Property law. I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of having to adapt to the legal constraints as each word is purposely used. It also gave me an opportunity to hone my critical thinking and develop wide based research skills. Very few people have the natural ability to extract the material issues in need of thorough canvassing.
My work experience has been largely legally orientated and focussing on trademark and copyright law.
My love for reading is only possibly matched by that for listening to audiobooks. I have played the violin for many years completing a number of practical and theory exams. I enjoy chess, most water based activities and have travelled extensively.
I am an earnest, hard-working individual who in this context is somewhat of a perfectionist - setting very high standards for myself.
Very. recently, I relocated from South Africa to the US and am currently based in Dallas. I am available to start working immediately and I currently have a rather flexible schedule.
Should you require anything further please do not hesitate to ask (examples of my work, relevant letters of recommendation etc.). I can be contacted at chriskassianides@gmail.com.
