The companies that win are the ones that focus on how the customers FEEL
There are 3 things I've noticed about brands that never die off:
1. They take a strong stance on important issues that are currently relevant in the world. They know that by doing so they will lose some fans and customers, but as a result they will strengthen their influence on those that agree with them.
2. They don't talk about their company in their marketing efforts or what amazing products or services they have. They focus on how the potential benefits will make the customer FEEL.
3. Instead of always trying to find new customers, they spend more time creating amazing things for the ones they already have.
Here's a short background on my marketing experience: After my internship as an analyst, I got hired at Pinterest as a Partner Manager. My role was to plan, create and manage advertising campaigns for large companies with enormous budgets.
My friend at the time had started a business called HydroJug and I found it interesting. At the time they weren't doing any marketing and I knew I had to help where I could. The growth was like a rocket ship. I quit my job at Pinterest and partnered with my friend. In two years we've seen a 6,700% total growth.
But here I am talking about myself when really I should be focused on you, the customer. There are steps you can take to help your business grow. You just have to be willing to TEST and LEARN. Most of your tests will turn out to be failures. But the ones that turn out good can scale your profits for years.
Let's talk and see if we should do business together.
Work Terms
I prefer project based payments because they're better for both parties. I work full time as the CMO at HydroJug. I'll be able to communicate during the day but only able to work in the evenings.
