Experienced Independent Feature Film Producer and Development Executive avail for Consultation (19 yrs experience)

With almost two decades in development and producing independent feature film, some highlights of Mr. Sergi’s career cross several mediums, genres and platforms. His first Producer credit, Pastor Brown, the Directorial debut of actor, Rockmond Dunbar and starring Michael B. Jordan, broke records when it premiered. He’s developed and created original content for the non-scripted cable channels TLC, Destination America, LMN, and more. Mr. Sergi produced a Kansas-based drama starring Emmy-Award Winner Joseph Pantoliano (The Sopranos, Bad Boys 1-4) and Elaine Hendrix (The Parent Trap, CWs Dynasty)
In 2018 and 2019, Mr. Sergi produced several projects including a sports documentary, directed by Rashard Mendenhall of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and a supernatural feature thriller, Portal, starring Ryan Merriman, and horror icon, Heather Langankemp, as well as a scripted series for BET+, A Luv Tale: The Series, based on the hit short film, featuring an all-star ensemble cast including Vanessa Williams (Soul Food: The Series), Rotimi (Power), Tanairi Vazquez (Broadway’s Hamilton), Victor Williams (Kings of Queens) as well as Wyclef Jean scoring the project.

Teaming up with Blumhouse (Get Out, The Black Phone) he next Executive Produced the dark thriller, I’m Just F*cking With You, which made its World Premiere at the 2019 SXSW Film Festival where Variety reported it as being 1 of the 11 buzz worthy films to come out of SXSW (alongside Jordan Peele’s US), before being released wide via Hulu to much fanfare. He would later work on the genre bending film, A Wounded Fawn, directed by acclaimed filmmaker, Travis Stevens and Snow Fort Pictures (We Are Still Here, Jacob’s Wife) before being released exclusively via AMC+/Shudder in December of 2022 and to date still maintains an over 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Currently, he is just completed the horror-comedy, Crust, directed by Sean Whalen, who is also starring alongside Alan Ruck (Freaky, Succession) which will be released in the Fall of 2024 via Anchor Bay Entertainment.

Next up is the psychological thriller, “The Looming” being directed by Samuel Macon and starring Elaine Hendrix (The Parent Trap, CWs Dynasty) and Pej Vahdat (The Old Man, Shameless) which will go into production in Fall 2024 / Winter 2025.
