Legal writer with litigation experience starting in 2005. "His research and writing skills are on par with many attorneys who practice before this court" (Hon. J. Michael Waterman)
I am from Minneapolis, Minnesota and now live in Wisconsin. I have two children and am very involved in family life with them.
My legal experience started as a result of being a professional photographer and needing to both license photos as well as enforce my copyright.
I was coached in civil procedure by an attorney from 2005 to 2007 while litigating a copyright/defamation case in state and federal court (Gregerson v. Vilana Financial Inc., D. Minn., 2008). I have since litigated another federal copyright case and 8-10 state cases in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
I performed all aspects of litigation; researching claims and counter-claims, drafting pleadings and briefs (summary judgment motions, motions to compel, and appellant briefs). Also discovery requests and answers, legal correspondence, settlement letters, and stipulations.
A July 8, 2020, order from a Wisconsin Circuit Court Judge found that "His [Chris Gregerson] research and writing skills are on par with many attorneys who practice before this court" (Hon. J. Michael Waterman, St. Croix County Circuit Court Judge).
Work Terms
I work from home and have a mostly open schedule. I am used to working with deadlines of the court. I would discuss your needs in detail and what I am able to do.
