Adaptable Applied Mathematician always looking for an interesting, challenging problem.

One major challenge facing companies today is turning a business inquiry into an actionable, well-defined data query. This is where my expertise comes into play. I have an masters of science (M.S.) in Applied Mathematics. With thus comes the ability to turn any problem into a mathematical one, thus lending it to quantifiable analysis. This can look like forming a complex SQL query, or running a PDE model in Matlab to fit a data curve.

While my research focus was primarily in combinatorics and bioinformatics, I have years of training in general mathematical modeling and data analysis. The bulk of my experience falls broadly under infectious diseases and molecular biology, however I have taken on successful side projects in economics and population dynamics. My expertise extends past the analytic stage into data visualization and presentation as well.
