A Business Writer specialized in Business proposal writing

I specialize in business proposal writing targeting investors or lenders. My main clients are start up companies planning to get funding for their business. My proposals are very comprehensive as it includes a complete market/industry analysis as well as a 5-10 year financial plan. This also gives the business owners an idea of the project viability. I also advise businesses on the viability of their project. Since I've worked in the corporate world for over 6 years, I make use of my experience when advising them as well.

I decided to start freelance work after I realized how self fulfilling it is and how much I love planing new businesses.

I have recently completed my MBA with a distinction in which I did a report on Collaborative consumption and shared economies. Economics has been a topic of great interest to me, which developed through my CIMA education and which I was able to put to good use as a research analyst doing economic research for Sri Lanka and South Asia, for almost 2 years. By venturing out of this field, I got the opportunity to explore another side of the corporate world through Brand marketing at Cinnamon Hotel & Resorts. I took on this post knowing that it would give me greater exposure in the corporate world while also improving my leadership, strategic thinking and decision making skills. In addition to this I have also developed strong stakeholder management skills, the ability to work under pressure, and to think out of the box.

Work Terms

I prefer to communicate via email and phone. I can complete a report within 3-4 days but also able to deliver faster if required. After I send the first draft, clients can get back to me with any adjustments required and I will ammend accordingly.
