I have professionally worked in the event and wedding planning industry more than 10 years. As an event and wedding planner/designer has been a remarkable journey where I have grown in knowledgeable experience where I have expanded my expertise in trends, designing and developed relationships with various levels of clientele.
I began my journey working for the New York State Assembly in administration where part of my duties was assisting with planning upcoming political campaigns and fund-raising events. I migrated into conferences and workshops with various non-profit organizations in Upstate New York and Philadelphia, PA where I then started doing weddings and private events. I started my own company Alsace of New York Events Group which is now Alsace Events and Design of New York operating under the DBA Alsace Events and Design. I have worked in various countries as a planner and designer such as Brazil, France, London, Italy and the Caribbean including various parts of the United States. My professional experience as an event planner/designer has given me the opportunity to work with various brands such as FIAT, Sephora, Skinny Girl, Vitamin Water, Visible Changes and other notable companies. With a plethora of various skills such as proposal writing, contract negotiations, venue search and selection and developing partnerships has provided me the ability to build strong teams and delegate responsibilities to accomplish all goals in a timely manner. The leadership and team building skills I have developed throughout my professional experiences has sharpened my creativity, provided me with greater knowledge in communication, flexibility, meeting deadlines and conflict resolution abilities which I believe are some key elements that may be beneficial to the position I’m seeking as a Event Planner within your company. I have maintained professionalism under pressure and work with colleagues as a team to get things done efficiently.
