I’m a 31 yr old mother, student and wife who loves to help and assist others that happened to become a personal concierge….

Like many others out there looking for something meaningful to do to earn income without jeopardizing themselves or loosing their skills and experience, while also being appreciated for them, I searched for my own niche in the world and in my search, it found me. I have always been a helper of some sort. With my family, with others, classmates, co-workers, just whatever I saw fit to assist or someone saw fit in me to assist them, I did it, and I would always take so much pride in it. I never commit to something that I can’t involve myself in wholeheartedly and give 150 percent, and that has taken me a long way and gained the respect of many in life thus far. In 2010, I started my first home business which was very successful for 5 years, only to become burnt out and to go back into the corporate world where I found myself feeling like a fish out of water. As I worked again in corporate America for over a year, I pondered every other moment on, “how am I going to get back to really doing something I enjoy and still being there for my family and expounding on my skills, education and experience?” Each day in the office was either a fashion runway, a battle of the fastest, or a battle of wits of who can make the biggest impression on the boss with the hopes of getting a bonus, a pay raise and/or promotion. Now don’t get me wrong, those are all nice, if you like the idea of being in a never ending rat race with no real impact on society where you are remembered for your character. Then one night it hit me, why not just do what I’ve been doing, help others in the ways that I’ve already been doing? I realized it was perfect! There were companies out there already capitalizing off the concept already but, there wasn’t exactly a personal or friendly feel to it, it was still, so A Southern Delight was born and I, as a mom-treprenuer, was reborn.
