When you have good media relations, you don't need advertising
I have years of anchoring, reporting, writing, photography, live TV, editing,
media relations, networking, and social media experience. I am a media savvy professional who has done about every job in the newsroom, but most of it was spent writing stories and reporting. A side effect of this job was receiving TONS of press releases a day. I think that's how I learned how to do the job of public relations before actually working in public relations. Because I was on the "other side", I knew what worked and what didn't. Now, I do it and contact journalists like the one I used to be. In addition to this, I understand the need for a great social media presence. I launched the merge of social media with a local CBS station in 2009. It's more than just posting. I am also a writer and blogger - doing work for myself and others locally and nationally.
Work Terms
I am a very hard and honest worker. There are no guessing games with me. All I ask is payment is made on time ahead of the service rendered or after an article is written.
