19 years of professional web design and development experience, ready to go to work for you.
I fell into this profession back in 1996 by providing websites as a "value-added" service for the small advertising company I worked for as a writer. That's when I realized web development was a far more rewarding job than advertising copywriting, and I've stuck with it ever since.
Since those early days at a web mill, I moved on to in-house webmaster and developer positions. I've worked for an oilfield equipment company, a national geophysical organization, and a national vinyl distributor. I worked at least five years in each position, so I must be doing something right. I'm currently providing websites for a small advertising firm, in some ways coming full circle.
Besides web stuff, I'm a proficient copywriter, layout artist, and graphic designer (with emphasis on web graphics, naturally). In my spare time, I write short stories and novels, play video games, expand my knowledge of web technology, putter around the house, and like to spend quality time with my wife and two dogs.
Thank you for your interest. I look forward to hearing from you.
