I was part of a group of Network Engineers. Daily responsibilities consisted of 24/7 cyber security and monitoring for small-medium to medium size businesses, along with a variety of Fortune 500 companies. Salesforce was the primary platform used for ticketing, escalation and tracking our day to day. In addition, other software tools were utilized in order to effectively resolve cases in a timely manner. I provided live monitoring for multiple business at a global capacity. I was responsible and expected to identify and resolve 94.7% of all client issues. Through VMware, I rewrote rules while monitoring customer access and push notifications. I also configured firewall rules, build, enable and disable VPN and IPSec tunnels per our clients request and authorization. I would notify customers of exceeding bandwidth capacity, disk space management, while discovering if their hardware is experiencing minor, major or critical digressions. Daily our clients and third parties would either call directly to our team or update us through our Salesforce ticketing system.
