Hello!
My name is Christopher Jansson. I'm half Swedish and half Malaysian, and I'm 19 years old. I can speak and write English and Swedish fluently, and shall now provide a brief overview of my life so far!

I was born in Stockholm, but have lived in several different countries: Sweden, US, Kenya, Moldova, Wales, and England (where I am now studying at King's College London). Having lived in so many countries has really 'opened my eyes' to the world and its multiple cultures and problems.

In terms of academics, I studied at the hugely influential UWC Atlantic College in Wales, where I managed to successful complete the International Baccalaureate. The school's sense of multiculturalism, and delivering an ethos of peace and justice has had a profound impact on my life. It taught us these values via enabling us to several hours of community service per week, going on various project weeks in different areas of the world, and hosting major conferences on controversial topics such as environmental protection and the problems of the Middle East. Seeing a Palestinian and Israeli standing together, pleading for us to fight for peace in our futures, was a heartfelt moment for me.

The impact this school has left me has made me realize how the world is a lot bigger than we usually think. As such, I am open-minded, critical, and ultimately curious of any task I would take on. My bilingualism also enables me to be successful in any translation projects.

Finally, in terms of interests I have a love for football. Not only is it a great sport but it certainly has the potential to bring people together in a world constantly torn apart by conflict. I also enjoy basketball and Ultimate Frisbee.
