Expert & Accomplished Book Editor • Published Author • Wordsmith & All-Around Literary Fanatic
I specialize in the editing, proofreading, authoring and development of book-length literary works. I am also a published author represented by an esteemed New York-based literary agency.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maine and Master of Fine Arts degree from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. My stories, essays, and poems have been published in literary magazines and on various websites. My first collection of poems, The Bible of Animal Feet, was published by a small press, and my debut novel is currently undergoing the rounds with reputable publishing houses.
I am passionate about every facet of language and every stage of its evolution, from conception to development to publishing. I am more than simply an editor: I am a wordsmith, but a humble one, always seeking to bring clarity and life to language—while simultaneously testing its limits.
I come from the island of Martha’s Vineyard, off the northeastern coast of the United States. I have lived in Helsinki, Finland, since 2009. When not editing others’ writing, I am creating my own or am running with my dog, cycling, lifting weights, or enjoying fine vegetarian food with my wife, Raisa.
