I recently decided to grow and expand my career in graphic design and web design after helping out a few acquaintances and friends with their local business.
While working as an admin director for an international education agency, I had helped design a few booklets and flyers, editing and translating contracts and essay, but found my deep passion for creation and design rather than managing schedules and customer service.
I learned back in High School how to photoshop and fix photos, create fan art graphic posters, design packaging, logo, stationary and cartoon characters. Combining that with my personal hobbies like photography, traveling, and crafts, I had made a lot of personalized cards and gifts in the past for my international friends. Instead of being a personal hobby, I'm working on expanding my creative skills into a more professional level.
Seeing my work helps people with their business and brings smiles on people's faces is a joy to me. And because I like to travel with a changing environment and constant inspiration, freelancing in creative fields like design and writing seems to be effective.
I have freelanced for translation and transcription for a while now, and I always like to help more people and improve my skills and speed. Being raised bilingual also means I have to face the challenge of maintaining both language skills at a certain level.
I believe visual content has a long-term effect, even if the world is moving so much faster, I like to think a part of me lives in whatever I created, whether it be through words or art.
