Theoretical physicist looking to use my skills to write advanced code to model the world
I have been interested in the ability to use maths to describe things since i was young, and that has been one of the driving factors in my choices of study and career. I have achieved top A level results at my school, and have a masters in Theoretical Physics from the University of Durham.
As well as this, I have experience in conducting novel research in the field of quantum gravity during an internship at the University of Cambridge; this was an experience that I am deeply grateful for, and was a good compliment to my skillset, as the research environment was open to me being able to explore my own ideas independently. As well as the freedom that was afforded to me at my time in Cambridge, it also helped to develop my skills in communicating complex physical concepts to others, and working as a group to tackle the problem at hand.
Outside of my work in physics, I have been a lifelong reader, and also play the violin in my spare time. Always wanting to scratch the itch for a challenge I also do the cryptic crossword in the morning.
