Writer, editor, proofreader

I have more than 14 years of full-time experience as an editor and writer in the journalism industry. That has included working at newspapers in Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia. For my efforts, I have been recognized by the Alabama Press Association, Georgia Press Association, and Easter Seals of Southern Georgia.
I have several years of freelance writing experience under my belt. Since January 2013 that has included consistently serving as contributing writer for Sports Events, a monthly publication of Covey Communications.
My education background consists of earning a Bachelor of Arts degree at Jacksonville State University in 1998. My studies included majoring in Mass Communications with a double concentration in print journalism and public relations and minoring in English.

Work Terms

I am happy to provide a variety of writing and editing service for a fee of $40 per hour or 20 cents per word, unless otherwise agreed upon.
