A Highly Creative MBA graduate, who is passionate about learning and constant improvement.
Right after I took my MBA, I realised I have a strong passion for creativity specifically in Marketing. While I am interested and deeply challenged with other areas of a business (e.g. Finance and Operations), I feel a great sense of connection to Marketing. I have worked as a Marketing Staff in an I.T. company distributing software and Hardware Products. I also had the experience of running a shipping company. I have become a website-tester and a technical writer for a website made specific to shipping schedule. The turning point of my marketing journey is when I have joined the Academia as a College Instructor in a local University in my city. I have taught Marketing subjects specifically Marketing Management, Product Management, International Marketing, Internet Marketing, Distribution Management, Salesmanship, Retail Management and most of all Marketing Research. Throughout the 3 years teaching, I was also given the opportunity to work as a University Researcher and have been able to publish a study in an internationally recognised publication. From full-time college instructor I became a part-time college instructor as soon as I was hired to become a Virtual Marketing Co-ordinator. I guess I am one of those individuals to have been blessed with the opportunity to acquire a good education as well as to be able to develop my skills in graphics design. As a Virtual Marketing Co-ordinator, I was tasked to do mostly Marketing Collaterals for Print, Web and Social Media. A year later I became a Marketing Manager in another business unit where I was exposed to Social Media Marketing, SEO, Search Engine Marketing, and Content Marketing. Lately I am trying to expose myself to web design and I am in my initial stage of studying HTML. I believe that talent is overrated and you will always find another person who can do the task for that person but what will separate one person from the others is his use of common sense and hard work.
