I have over 20 years of experience in Office and Clerical Work. I was a Business Major in College and I reinforced my business knowledge and clerical skills by taking computer lessons which provided me the tools and capability to use different technology to become more productive and creative. I am familiar with different Platforms of Operating Systems, starting from DOS, Windows, Apple or Linux. I am exposed to different cultures and this gave me a strong awareness and sensitivity towards other people's needs.

I was born in the Philippines with a rare, birth defect in my left leg. My leg problems hindered me from excelling in a lot of physical activities but whatever I lack in physical capabilities I make up for it with mental toughness and ingenuity. I found this to be true when I came to America by myself at 23 and had my affected leg amputated at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. I made it through surgery and stayed around the Rochester area for 3 months for physical therapy and learning how to walk with a prosthesis. I eventually moved to the area, got married and started my own business.

There are still a lot of physical activities that I enjoy and one of them is snorkeling. I like to take pictures and videos of my underwater adventures which leads me to my other passion of traveling.

I concluded that life is too short to spend the rest of it walking in slippery roads and shoveling snow during winter. This is the reason why I started my home-based, freelance business. My goal is to do work in a warmer place, such as the comfort of my own home office and be more in charge of my schedule.
