Senior DevOps/Software Engineer with over 15 years experience working with various technologies and frameworks.

Hi, my name is Clint. I live and work in Utah, USA. I have a small family (2 children, 3 dogs), and when I am not working I am spending time with them.

I have worked most of my career as a senior and lead engineer at ZAGG (11 years) and most recently at FASHIONPHILE (4 years).

I began my career working with PHP 5.x, MySQL, and HTML/JS/CSS. I developed ecommerce websites with functional backends and admin tools for customer and order management. After some acquisitions by ZAGG, I developed a modular API framework to consolidate development between multiple domains, as well as our customer and order management tools used by Customer Service. I also developer command line tools to manage and automate batch processes for 3rd party fulfillment centers, and to process incoming jobs from the same places when shipments were confirmed. I worked closely with the Operations and Accounting teams diagnose issues and implement fixes. I upgraded and moved legacy software to new OpsWorks/Chef managed instances on AWS to allow for better system management, developer access management, and a more stable production environments.

When I left ZAGG I moved onto FASHIONPHILE as a Sr PHP Engineer, and quickly established myself as a technology leader by architecting an AWS solution that would solve their scaling problems.

Work Terms

I am available for up to 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri). I prefer bi-weekly payment schedule. I work from Mac OS and can use various tools of communication, including: email, slack, text message, phone call, video call (google, teams, zoom).
