Marketing works best when it's creative.
In 2011, I wrote and produced Ottawa's Art Seen, an 8-part series for Rogers TV. It is still aired as re-runs.
In 2012, American publisher, Focal Press (Boston, now Taylor & Francis), published Focus On Close-Up and Macro Photography, a photographybook I wrote and photographed.
In 2013, I was the guest on CBC's Definitely Not The Opera about the selection of soundtrack nominees for the Oscars.
In 2014, I teamed up with Arnold Gosewich, a literary agent based in Toronto. Together, we are pursuing opportunities for two books: The Classics about the passion owners, collectors and restorers have for classic cars; and Define This, a sardonic view of contemporary life from A to Z.
In 2015, I collaborated with fellow photographer, Richard Desmarais, to create Troubled Minds, a photo exhibit and video in an attempt to generatepublic awareness regarding mental illness. It can be seen on YouTube (Troubled Minds by Richard Desmarais) and in Heavy Metal magazine(online). This year, we are working on two more video projects: Alone for the Shark Research Institute, and Blind Ambition for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
In 2016, I edited and got Merriam Press (Vermont) to publish my father's memoirs, Long Shadows of Yesterday. It is based on a young Britishofficer's account of servicing with the Royal Sussex Regiment and with the 7th Gurkhas in India, Palestine, Trans-Jordan and Greece during the turbulent years from 1945 - 1959.
In 2016, I finished a science-fiction story, Future Tense, for a graphic novel and The Election, a parody on the antics prior to a federal election.
In 2016, I am collaborating with a former police inspector in writing a detective novel.
