Cody Martin comes from a rural town north of Sacramento, California. Cody grew up on a walnut farm which instilled him with a supreme work ethic, and honorable values. Cody has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Digital Film Making and Video Production, obtained from The Art Institute of California Sacramento. Cody has immense knowledge of all stages of video production, but specializes in the image making process such as, cinematography, lighting, and editing.

Cody has experience in commercials, live events, documentaries, and narrative projects. Cody has worked for numerous corporate companies including, Facebook, Yahoo, Leap Frog, Clover Stornetta, Cisco Networking, and Brier Aircraft. He is most recognized for his directorial debut short documentary entitled, "Quiet Culture," which has premiered in nine different festivals including, Slamdance Film Festival, Big Sky Film Festival, and Portland Film Festival. Quiet Culture has screened in eight states across the nation, and aired on Fusion Network for eighteen months in 2014 and 2015.
