I am a Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning researcher consulting in this space for the past 7 years.

In addition, I am an expert coder - having worked in Java and C++ for close to 16 years and in Python for 1 year - and am a contributor to Apache OpenNLP. I'm also familiar with the quality control processes required to develop enterprise grade tools, having worked in the IBM Websphere team and on the IBM J9 Java virtual machine team for 5 years, and having had stints with Microsoft Research and Sun.

So, in addition to doing cutting-edge research work in text-processing algorithms, I also code extremely well.
