In a love/hate relationship with MS Excel since 2010
Whether you are a $50M type business or a $20B type business, you have to make decisions based on data. I happen to have experience working at both types of companies.
From working at the $20B company, I learned a great deal about the best way to look at sales and inventory data, and the best way to utilize that data to make decisions.
When I moved to the $50M company, I had to learn how to build the reports that were created for me at the $20B company. All of the sales reporting and inventory management was managed out of Microsoft Excel. I thought I knew Excel when I started, but now I can confidently say I KNOW Excel.
I want to help other small businesses utilize Excel on a greater level and to help them build reports and templates they can use years after I am finished on the job. Report templates for POS data, Sales forecasts, P&L reports, etc...
Beyond my corporate career, I am always looking for ways to build my portfolio of experience, to learn from the best in the industry, and eventually would like to run my own business. I recently started an eBay shop selling gently used women's clothing as a way to get my "feet wet" in starting a business.
