Audio Transcription, Gregg Shorthand, Shorthand transcription

My name is Colleen Spivey. I have lived in Charlotte, NC for 24 years and am originally from Buffalo, New York. I studied at Katherine Gibbs in Boston, MA and graduated in 1987. After graduating, I worked for five years at the Buffalo Bills in the Administration Office and the Scouting Department. One of my many responsibilities was transcribing audio scouting reports into our system. I was chosen to be part of a small group to advance to the Super Bowl city for all four super bowls. I moved to Charlotte when I was given the opportunity to work for the Carolina Panthers before their 1995 inaugural season. I worked at the Panthers for five years in the College Scouting Department as the assistant to the Director of College Scouting. After giving birth to my first child, I chose to work from home. During the years of raising my three children, I worked for Four Crossings Entertainment and Hullabaloo Production Company transcribing audio files for screenplays and teleplays. I also did transcription work for author, P.E.Calvert and Moonbeam Children's Award author, Tiffany Elaine. I have also enjoyed the opportunity to transcribe Gregg Shorthand for people on a rare occasion.
