I am a skilled technical writer and editor with extensive proposal writing and contract drafting experience in the construction, engineering, and system integration industries. Additionally, I have written op-eds and press releases that appeared in the Dallas Morning News and other local publications, and have guest-written blog posts for major corporations.
In 2017, my proposals helped an electrical contractor in Fort Worth win more than $92.5 million of awarded work, including adaptive-reuse and new construction projects in healthcare facilities, data centers, factories, and office towers.
In 2015 and 2016, I helped a Dallas area organization bring in more than $1.35 million in private funding annually, along with assisting with federal and public grant/funding proposals that contributed to a total of more than $15 million of annual revenue for the organization.
My day job is with a multinational distributor of industrial electronic and automation components, where I drive double-digit year-over-year percentage growth for a portfolio of suppliers worth $38 million annually. In order to accomplish this, I secure new suppliers, draft contracts, write marketing strategy and content, and manage the relationship with about 20 companies.
