As someone with a passion for helping organizations grow and thrive, I found my calling in grant writing—a skill that allows me to blend my love for research, communication, and community impact. My journey into grant writing started with my own experience as a small business owner, where I spent three years running an alternative therapy business. Through that, I learned firsthand the challenges that small businesses and organizations face in securing funding and the importance of clear, strategic communication to convey a mission.
My transition into grant writing began as I worked with non-profits and small organizations, many of which had amazing ideas but struggled to communicate their needs effectively to potential funders. I saw how important it was for them to secure financial backing, and I knew that I could help by crafting strong, compelling grant proposals that told their story in a way funders couldn’t ignore.
I started by volunteering my time to help non-profits in my community and abroad, including several organizations in the U.S. and Colombia. I quickly realized that my strengths in research, writing, and understanding the intricate goals of each organization were perfectly suited for this work. Each proposal I wrote became more than just a request for funding—it was an opportunity to help an organization clarify its mission, refine its goals, and present itself with confidence.
Over time, I expanded my services to not just grant writing, but also grant research, letter of inquiry (LOI) writing, and proposal proofreading and editing. I realized that different organizations had different needs, and many could benefit from assistance in various stages of the grant process. Whether it’s finding the right funding opportunities, crafting a concise LOI to get a foot in the door, or refining a full proposal to ensure its impact, I’ve built a service that meets these diverse needs.
One of my greatest strengths is my collaborative approach. I believe in working closely with each client to understand their unique history, present work, and future goals. This allows me to write proposals that not only meet the technical requirements but also tell the story of the organization in a way that resonates with funders. I take the time to ask questions, study the business or non-profit thoroughly, and shape the proposal to align with the client’s vision and the funder’s priorities.
In addition to my experience, I bring strong language skills, being fluent in both English and Spanish. This has allowed me to work with a diverse range of clients, helping Spanish-speaking organizations reach English-speaking funders and vice versa. I’m committed to creating proposals that are not just technically strong, but also accessible and inclusive.

Work Terms
Hours of Operation: I offer flexible working hours to accommodate your needs and time zone. Whether it's weekdays or weekends, I can adjust my schedule to fit your project’s requirements with prior notice.
Payment Terms: I charge $20 per hour, with a minimum of 4 hours per project. Alternatively, we can arrange a fixed price depending on the scope and details of the project. Payments can be made securely through the platform.
Turnaround Time: For proofreading and editing, I typically require 3-7 business days. For larger grant writing projects, the turnaround time is 14-21 days, depending on the project's size and specific requirements. If you have an urgent deadline, please discuss it with me in advance, and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
Revisions: I provide up to 2 rounds of revisions to ensure the final result meets your expectations. If further revisions are needed, we can discuss additional options.
Preferred Communication Style: I am available via the platform or WhatsApp for consistent and clear communication throughout the project. Discuss it with me, and I’ll ensure timely responses and updates.
Project Confidentiality: Your project’s confidentiality is my top priority. All sensitive information will be handled with complete discretion and professionalism.
