My mission is to provide virtual/outsourced CFO services and project management expertise, and resulting peace of mind, to clients who lack the bandwidth to staff these needs in-house.
I am a 25 year veteran in the accounting and client services industry. I started my career at Deloitte audit & advisory, which lead to an internal accounting position running an accounting department. However, my true passion is client service. I thrive on the unique story of each of my clients, the varied projects, differing office cultures and increased responsibilities that each new engagement holds.
I began my career as an auditor with a rock solid basis in accounting, which naturally lent itself to the resulting steps of Controller to VP Finance to CFO for clients over the last two decades. However, being deeply involved with the c-suite for these engagements led to the parallel path of project management. As clients found themselves needing a highly trained, trusted and responsible leader with knowledge of their organization to take over discrete tasks or time sensitive 'fire drills' or large-scale infrastructure projects or even organization-wide initiatives, they looked to me. These dual roles of Finance and PMO sometimes overlap, sometimes are discrete, but my skill for both and passion for both are equally strong.
Work Terms
I work as the project demands. Projects may be billed hourly or milestone or flat fee depending on the nature of the engagement and agreement with client.
I am virtually always available by email and when engagement is finalized will provide mobile and office phone numbers for contact as well.
