I strive to meet the highest quality standards possible and would never associate my name with anything less.
I studied Applied Arts in college and began working in the printing industry in the mid 90s. I operated a 4-color press for several years then shifted over to working within a digital prepress department in 2000. This position entailed the correcting of designer errors in native files, ensuring that proper bleed, safety, and trim were configured for all pages, and ensuring all proper file formats and specs were followed prior to the creation of print-ready files.
I began freelancing as a graphic designer in 2007 taking on various print and web projects while still working full time in prepress. I worked on many projects over the years including web design, print design, UI/UX design, HTML5 web development, and CMS web development.
I moved from prepress to the IT department in 2015 while still maintaining an active freelance schedule as a designer. Within my IT position I configured both file and web servers including AWS services, further development of web sites, email campaign creation, network maintenance and diagnostics, hardware troubleshooting, and workflow creation.
I am still currently freelancing as a designer and developer while creating digital artwork in my spare time. I am very efficient and dependable in my work practices. I am proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, HTML5, CSS3, Wordpress, and Joomla.
Work Terms
My hours are extremely flexible as I work in a remote capacity. Payment is flexible as well i.e. milestones, payment in full at the end of a project, payment in installments, etc... Payment can either be hourly or a flat fee per project. I prefer written communication due to the paper trail. This makes things easier to refer back to when necessary. Either email, texts, or a messaging platform is perfect.
