Cynthia Luz P. Rivera is a publishing refereed/peer-reviewed academic, an international research and publications consultant, and editor of 25 books. She received external research and related grants/awards from Sumitomo Foundation, Spanish Program for Cultural Cooperation for Philippine Universities (SPCC), University of Macau-CEPEZA, PCGE-Global Education Associates, and SSC Institute of Women's-Nursia.. She served as faculty member and Director of the UST Centre for Intercultural Studies, a 2007 CHED-HEI awardee for research excellence., and research and publications consultant for Intramuros Administration and the Office of the President at the Development Academy of the Philippines.
