Work Terms

We at Daffodil Software follow 3 models for development:

DEDICATED:

-This model is followed when there are continuous evolving and changing requirements.
- Client will have flexibility to ramp up or ramp down the resource
- Client can assign either single project or multiple project to the resource
- Total project cost is determined by the actual efforts spent
- Dedicated Resources are provided on Monthly basis or weekly basis with full time availability
- Resource will be the single point of contact for Client.
- Resource will provide daily status reports and available for daily calls

FIXED:

- Requirements are Clear and Scope is defined in the beginning
- Effort, Schedule & Timeline, Milestones & Deliverable s are identified
- Delivery is on time and within budget
- Payment is made based on successful completion of Milestones with a small Upfront at the start of the project.
- In case any changes are to be made apart from the freezed scope that is taken as a Change Request
- The team uses Project Management tools like Jira, Redmine etc so that Client can track the progress and for managing the project.
- Project Manager, Tester ,QA is assigned to project to ensure delivery is on shared dates

SCRUM MODEL:

- Deliveries are done based on the Sprints defined
- Each Sprint is for 2 weeks for which the user stories are defined on mutual consent of developers and product owner, scrum master
- Demo is provided at end of each Sprint
- Fixed estimates cannot be provided in Scrum model and the resources weekly rates can be shared
- Working agreement and Definition of Done has to be in place before starting a Sprint
