Daiana holds an M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree from the University of Waterloo, Canada. Her academic research focused on isolation of soil microbes and characterizing them at the molecular and biochemical level. Her interests include environmental bioremediation, sustainable plant-productivity strategies, assessing the environmental and health impacts of various compounds, research, and development of innovative environmentally-responsible practices. She is an environmental scientist and consultant with a passion for research, scientific writing, and scientific communication. She has worked with clients in the Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining, Commercial, and Agrochemical Sectors to assess potential health effects to people and wildlife through the application of toxicology and risk assessment. She has also aided clients with the registration of their agrochemical products with regulatory bodies in the United States and Canada.
