I worked most recently as a public-school French teacher in Virginia Beach. Before that, I worked as a graduate assistant in the English Department at Old Dominion University, where I worked as a teaching assistant for two sections of an advanced rhetoric and composition course. I hold an M.A. in Applied Linguistics from Old Dominion University, with a specialization in Sociolinguistics. During my time there, I also completed 6 credit-hours of graduate level French coursework. I earned my B.A. from the University of Virginia in Linguistics with a minor in French. I began my higher education at Tidewater Community College, where I earned my A.A. in Liberal Arts.
