Dana Kaufman has 20+ years of experience in developing and managing internal and external communications strategy, programs, campaigns, and tactics for companies of all sizes; including reputation and issues management, proactive communications campaigns to key stakeholders, creative pitching to appropriate media targets, thought leadership, social media, and employee advocacy programs.
Dana has worked with billion-dollar companies, start-ups, and everything in between to drive communications strategies for some of the world’s most recognized brands, including Iron Mountain, Compaq Computer Corporation, Akamai Technologies, Barrett Jackson Auction Company, eBay, John Deere and Caterpillar.
She serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Girls Inc. Omaha and as a member of the Development Committee for Joslyn Art Museum. Dana has also served on the boards of The Jewish Federation of Omaha, Heartland Family Services Guild, National Council of Jewish Women – Omaha Chapter, Guild Board and Golf Tournament Chairwoman for Child Saving Institute, and as a community volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and Westside Community Schools. She is a recipient of the Lois Jeanne Schrager Memorial Young Leadership Award, presented by the Jewish Federation of Omaha, and has been recognized as an Emerging Leader by the National Council of Jewish Women.
Dana holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications and Public Relations from Boston University, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Simmons College Graduate School of Business, and is a graduate of Leadership Omaha Class 36.
