Well crafted writing is my specialty: always on time, always thorough.
Mom tells me that my first word was "why?" That explains my curiosity and life-long learning. Everything is interesting, which is why I earned my degree in Professional Writing from the University of New Mexico. When one is a writer, one has no limits. Political Science was my minor, which enhanced my already vigorous activism.
Included in that degree was a large dose of editing skills acquired along the way. I managed a personal writing/editing business for many years before I returned to college for my degree in education. Fifteen years later, I have retired and am back to writing and editing. I taught middle school Language Arts and Social Studies and I can read just about any handwriting that comes along.
For clients, I have ghost written novels, edited magazine articles, written e-books, prepared hundreds of test questions, written marketing material, and a host of other work. I have published articles here and there, but my main work has been for others.
Presently, I tend my garden, care for my rescued dogs and cats and miss my grown children who live in other parts. I hand craft greeting cards, write terrific limericks, and sing a pretty good song.
When I write or edit for a client, I immerse myself in the job so that I know that client's message very well. I will ask questions and I will be candid about the writing to attain that well crafted writing in which I claim to have a specialty.
Work Terms
I work with clients to meet their deadlines. If I have a few days of travel, I will let my clients know well ahead of an agreement. Once hired, I prefer to use my gmail account to communicate, as it is easier to access that on the IPhone. Barring a catastrophe, my clients' deadlines will always be met.
