Crafting Memorable Copy That Converts
Hi! I'm Dana, a copy, content, and comedy writer based in Los Angeles. I honed my writing chops while working as an assistant in the writers’ rooms on hit shows like The Good Place and Saved by the Bell.
In these jobs, I pitched jokes and ideas for the shows (some even making it into the script!) and wrote all the copy for the art department, including everything from text messages seen on screen to posters in the background to the back of textbooks.
I loved working in the entertainment industry but after the pandemic, I wanted a flexible schedule to spend more time with my family.
Since switching to freelance, I’ve written for agencies, small businesses, board games, and more!
If you want to know what it's like to work with me, here are what my clients have said:
"Dana was amazing—she delivered above and beyond with every single piece of content she wrote for us. Dana is meticulous, thorough, and thoughtful in all her work. She's also incredibly timely. In the over six months she wrote for us, she was never once late with an assignment. If you need even more reason to work with her, she's also just a lovely person to work with—she's warm, engaged, and asks great questions.
TL;DR: 13/10, would hire again for more writing!"

“Dana is truly a creative through and through. She has completed several freelance copywriting projects for our digital marketing agency and in that time I found her to be a highly skilled and dedicated professional. She knows just how to put her imagination into overdrive, and she is always able to identify creative copy solutions for a client's needs. Dana's work is anything but stale or cliche. Some of her most notable strengths are in humor, wit, and "uniqueness", which - to me - is invaluable for a copywriter and creative.”

Thanks so much and I look forward to hearing from you!
Best,
Dana
Work Terms
I typically work Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. However, I often end a little early on Tuesdays so I can volunteer at a local cat rescue.
